What You Need to Know

  1. Residents Only: This event is exclusively for residential use. No commercial shredding will be accepted.
  2. Drive-Through Service: For everyone’s safety and convenience, this will be a drive-through event. Please remain in your vehicle; no walk-ups allowed.
  3. First Come, First Served: The event will run until noon or until the Shred-it Truck reaches its maximum capacity of 7 tons, whichever comes first.
  4. What to Bring:
    • Paper documents (notebooks, magazines, tax documents, newspapers, paper folders)
    • Items with small metal attachments (staples, paper clips, thin metal brads in paper folders)
  5. What Not to Bring:
    • Three-ring binders or large metal objects
    • Wet paper, plastics, or pressurized containers
    • Electronic media (hard drives, CDs, disks, video tapes, film reels)
    • Cardboard items
    • Batteries or electrical items
    • Syringes or other medical waste
    • General trash
